If you’re a Mystery Science Theater 3K fan like me, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is special to you not just for Pia Zadora’s breakout performance, or the hilarious riffs (“I wish we had real parents instead of this radio”), but for Crow T. Robot’s brand-new Christmas carol based on Patrick Swayze’s classic so-bad-it’s-awesome movie Roadhouse.

Named simply “Let’s Have a Patrick Swayze Christmas,” Crow’s creation broke new ground in modern-day holiday tunes by juxtaposing the joy of—oh, never mind. Here’s a professional choir singing it. Roll tape, Cambot!

I think it’s finally time to admit that I’ll probably never get back into regular Tumblr-ing. It’s too much of a timesink and the signal-to-noise ratio is increasingly frustrating.
